In just three short days, some of Suffolk County’s most talented jazz musicians gathered for an unforgettable musical experience at the SCMEA All-County Jazz Festival. Representing Wyandanch Memorial High School, Jermaine Brown proudly performed as a member of the SCMEA All-County High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Grammy Award-winning artist Sara Gazarek.

The ensemble captivated the audience with stunning renditions of Desert Song by Sage, Centerpiece arranged by Kerry Marsh, and Fly Away Birdie, written and performed by Sara Gazarek. The festival concluded with a remarkable concert on Saturday, November 8, hosted at Bayport-Blue Point High School, celebrating the dedication, artistry, and collaboration of these exceptional young musicians.
